Israel needs to be raped

Ever since I started this blog, I've been getting a lot of hate mail and nasty comments from the Likudnik/Kachnik/Chardalniks and GOP Jews out there. A lot of them accuse me of hating all Israelis, and having nothing but bad things to say about them. In reality, though, nothing could be further from the truth. I realized that it's high time for me to set the record straight, and to do a post about one of the many Israelis whom I respect and admire.

Who is a true friend -- someone who gives you what you want, or someone who tries to give you what you really need? I say it's the latter; and that what makes David Landau -- Editor-in-Chief of Haaretz, Israel's "thinking man's" newspaper -- a true friend of Israel. Because he knows what Israel really needs, and deep down, really wants: To be raped. That's right, raped -- repeatedly, and without mercy. Landau is not ashamed or afraid to proclaim this publicly, and to demand it from foreign officials: In a September 10 meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice together with about 20 leading Israeli public figures, Landau told Condi in no uncertain terms that Israel is a "failed state" that needs to be "raped" by the U.S.:

David Landau, Editor-in-Chief of Haaretz

"Israel wants to be raped... [This has] always been my wet dream... I implore you... Rape [Israel] into resolving the problem [of the occupation]."

Needless to say, this is precisely what I, and many other progressive people, have been thinking for years. But until now, nobody with the stature of Mr. Landau has had the guts to say it out loud to a senior American official. Futhermore, when challenged by snide reporters later on, Landau did not try to weasel out or retract what he had said: He proudly confirmed that he used the "R" word with Condi, and proclaimed again that getting raped is what Israel really wants -- and that he'd love to watch it happen.

I heartily agree, as do many others. (Landau pointed out that several professors who were present at the meeting came over to give him a yasher koach for his gutsy comments.) It would be a "wet dream" for me, too, to see Israel get raped by the U.S. Even better yet, the U.S. should get the E.U. and Russia in on the action, and turn it into a gang rape. It's what Israel deserves, big time, and it's heartening to see that the editor of Israel's most respected newspaper agrees.

But wait -- here's the most amazing part of all about David Landau: He's a religious Jew! Yes, you heard me right: He has a yeshiva education, he wears a big black kippa (not a tiny little beanie like Avrum Burg), and he lives in the ultra-orthodox Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem. He's a blatantly obvious, outwardly visible frummie -- who has absolutelty no inhibitions about publicly announcing his "wet dream" of getting Israel raped. The entire world hears him say this stuff, with his big black yarmulke. Imagine how embarrassed he must make all the RW Orthodox types. You can practically hear them all moaning, "Oy, what hillul hashem!" I mean, is that cool, or what?! I love this guy! He's even better than that haredi woman who ran for the Knesset on the Meretz list. We need more dossim like David Landau.

Of course, demanding Israel's rape while wearing a kippa is hardly the only thing Landau has done to earn my praise. He has consistently taken advantage of his position as editor of Israel's most respected daily to skillfully manipulate the news, and to advance the careers of those politicians who wisely adopted the right policies: At a Jewish conference in Moscow several months ago, Landau courageously revealed that he and Haaretz had "wittingly soft-pedalled" and even covered up corruption by Israeli political leaders -- including prime ministers Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert -- as a reward (and an incentive) for those leaders' policies that advanced the peace process. Futhermore, he proudly explained that he was currently using his editorial powers to suppress information about Olmert's criminal activities, so as "to ensure that Olmert goes to Annapolis". And it is an impressive testament to Landau's success in protecting the Israeli public from this information, that Olmert survived in office, and did indeed go to Annapolis.

Regarding the rape issue, of course, we should be wary of getting our hopes up too high: While the Bush Administration has been upping it's pressure and criticisms against Israel, I'm not holding my breath in anticipation of Dubya and Condi providing anything as satisfying as a full-fledged rape. Nevertheless, I'm cautiously optimistic that following this year's Presidential elections, we may finally be treated to a genuine, hardcore, graphically explicit rape of Israel by the new Administration. A rape from which Israel will emerge severely degraded and humiliated, having been taught the hard way that she's America's bitch from now on.

Kol hakavod, David Landau. Kudos to you for not being afraid to keep damaging information out of the news, for having the courage to tell the U.S. Secretary of State about your "wet dream" (and mine), and for being a role model for me and so many others.

Well, I hope that this corrects any misperceptions that some of you have had about my attitude toward Israel. In the future, I hope to do more posts in honor of other Israelis that I look up to as heroes.

Tyrone refutes more Zionist lies

The usual gang of Likudnik/Kachnik/Chardalnik RWers seem to have gotten into a whole big tizzy over my last post. They reacted typically, spouting the same old Zionist nonsense and lies. I already put them in their place in the comments, but afterward I realized that my responses were important enough to put up as a post:

Am Kshe Oref: You must be the biggest idiot on the face of the planet or you're actually mocking all the anti-Israel anti-IDF Libel your blog seems to promote.

You're the big idiot, bud, and the only people I'm mocking are the pro-Israel drones like yourself.

AKO: Do you realize the video you linked to about the Jews burning Palestinian children was by PMW - Palestinian Media Watch, which is a watchdog organization that monitors "Pal" media...

Who cares where the video came from? Watch it -- it shows the truth. We embrace truth wherever we find it.

AKO: That the "Palestinians" (a completely artificial, made-up term - my MOTHER is more of a "Palestinian" than any Arab - she is Jew born in "Palestine")...

Hardy-har-har. The fact that you call the term Palestinian "made-up" only proves that you are a murderous genocidal maniac. The Palestinians have been living in Palestine for many thousands of years, and have always called themselves "Palestinians". The Jews, on the other hand, only came a few decades ago, as European colonial invaders. Your mother is a late-coming interloper, who has no right to a single square inch of that land.

AKO: ...even the "moderate" Fatah is not in any way interested in peace, despite what the tell the Western media...

Whoa! Now you're really exposing yourself as an extremist nutjob. Even the most RW conservatives, like President Bush and John McCain, have openly declared that Abu Mazen (the head of Fatah) genuinely wishes for nothing more than peace. Heck, Israel's own Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert, and Foreign Minister, Tzippi Livni, have both said many times that Abu Mazen is a man of peace. So why should I believe you over the Israelis themselves, huh?

AKO: By the way, did you not read the caption on the video you posted? It was originally broadcast by FATAH TV, which PMW picked up.

Good point. And that only proves that its trustworthy. If Israel's government trusts Fatah, then why shouldn't I!? (And what would you rather I posted, something from the criminal Zionist government?)

fozzyb1: you make so many assumptions without fact, that I don't get upset by what you write. I am too busy laughing.

I'm glad you're amused. But you're the one who's full of "assumptions". Thanks, but I already know the truth, so I have no need for your "facts".

And I wouldn't laugh so much if I were you. You were the one who tried to defend a document called "IDF Shoot!".

Me: it was a religious zionist IDF officer who charged into Yeshivat Merkaz Harav who murdered the East Jerusalem activist a few weeks back

Jewish Sceptic: That language is far too permissive for the circumstance, Tyrone. A man with an AK-47 shooting civilians isn't an "east jerusalem activist" anymore than the frequent shootings in US schools is part of the curriculum. He was a man who decided to become a murderer and terrorist, therefore any of those tags are appropriate.

Wrong, bud. It's outrageous for you to call him a terrorist: As his family said, he had seen the media reports about the Holocaust that Israel is perpetrating in the Gaza Strip, and that got him very upset. What's more, he was probably held up at Israeli checkpoints on numerous occasions. It was his legitimate right to rise up in self-defense and fight for his freedom and that of his people. That makes him a freedom-fighter, not a terrorist.

JS: As for the man who "charged in" to the yeshiva, thank goodness he did, otherwise more innocent lives would have been lost.

They weren't innocent. They were ideologically in support of the illegal occupation (otherwise they wouldn't have been at that yeshiva), so they were war criminals.

JS: Palestinian terrorist kills Jewish civilians, Palestinian terrorists win, and Palestinian civilians dance in the streets (as they did after the murder of Jewish students a few weeks back).

The Israeli media says that it was good that an IDF officer murdered the activist in Merkaz Harav. So see, Israel also celebrates the murder of Palestinians! There's no difference.

JS: Through good media propaganda, they have conditioned world opinion (or the world has conditioned themselves) to the extent that almost whatever Palestinian terrorists do, the world will condemn israel. How perverse is that?

Firstly, that's a load of crock: The international media, and the whole world, is incredibly biased in favor of Israel, and only paranoid Zionists like yourself fail to see that. For an excellent example of the media's blatant pro-Israel bias, take a look at this post by DovBear about how CBS News supports and defends Israeli soldiers and their war crimes. How can you look at that and deny that they love Israel, huh?

JS: Native American claims to US soil is much more convincing than Palestinian claims to any part of Israel Proper.

It's true that the Americans committed terrible crimes against the Native Americans, but they don't even hold a candle to the crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinians. To pick just one blatant example, in the eternally infamous Jenin Massacre of 2002, Israel totally and completely wiped the Jenin refugee camp out of existence, off the face of the earth for all time, murdering thousands of people. Even the pro-Israel Guardian newspaper admitted that "Israel's actions in Jenin were every bit as repellent as Osama Bin Laden's attack on New York on September 11", and the pro-Israel UN envoy Terje Roed-Larsen observed that this was the worst massacre in all of human history. And to top it off, the Israeli Foreign Minister himself, Shimon Peres, admitted to all this when he called it a "massacre", using that word! In comparison, America's crimes against the Native Americans pale into puny insignificance.

JS: In one of your responses, you speak of Palestinians who still own houses in Israel Proper. What about the houses and properties of Jews in all Arab lands?

That's nothing more than a big urban legend spread by Likudnik/Kachnik/Chardalnik RWers. No Jews lost houses and properties in Arab lands. If they had, then why didn't Israel ever raise such a claim in any international forum, huh? We all know about the Palestinian claims against Israel -- the Arabs have been publicizing it since the Nakba. If the Jews had really been expelled from Arab countries and deprived of their property, then Israel would have made similar claims, and demanded compensation for it? They certainly have had plenty of opportunity to do so if they wanted to! The fact that Israel has never made any such claim proves that the whole thing is just a RW lie, invented to delegitimize the Palestinian cause.

JS: My own family were hounded out of Iraq in the years following WW2, and they chose to leave Iran after the Islamic Revolution for fear they would be killed if they didn't...

Even if your claim were true (and Israel doesn't seem to be backing you up), your family was responsible for what happened to them. They should have stayed in Iran. Israeli propaganda claims that Jews are mistreated in Iran, but that's a lie. The Jews who are there are actually treated very well and with full equality. They have even said so to the media! Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the suffering Palestinians.

Note to the slow and stupid

A whole host of Likudnik/Kachnik/Chardalnik RWers missed the point of my earlier post so allow me to explain.

I wasn't attempting to claim that IDF_Shoot.pdf was actually about the IDF shooting Palestinians. I can't believe you were so stupid that you really thought such a stupid thing. I actually knew all along what it was about, honest! I was simply attempting to mock the morons who all throw up articles that claim the IDF is a "moral" army that tries to avoid killing civilians, together with the dopes, who as as a result of those types of posts, are now mightily convinced that the Israeli army is somehow innocent of their unspeakable war crimes.

And yes, yes, I made a mistake about what the title of the document meant, but so what? That isn't a mistake which undermines the purpose of the post. It's still funny because it still parodies the sort of apologetics many of you on the right accept as conclusive evidence of your pet fantasy that the IDF is morally superior to their mirror-image counterparts in Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Bashing Arabs for Fun and Profit

I get particularly annoyed to see Jewish rightwingers bash Arabs. Have they no respect for humanity? Aren't we all created in God's image?

It's only a matter of time before some idiot like Chardal, Rafi G, MevaseretZion, Dovbear, Lurker, Jameel, JoeSettler or the "Jewish" worker puts up yet another boring posting bashing Arabs.

Here's a perfect example of what they do. They take an article from YNET, and yank it so hard to the right it almost careens off the road.

YNET: Did former PA chairman try to smuggle cell phones?

Embarassing episode at Allenby crossing: Rawhi Fattuh, advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, caught attempting to smuggle more than 3,000 cell phones; driver takes blame .

Ynet reporters Published: 03.19.08, 14:09 / Israel News

Former Palestinian Authority Chairman Rawhi Fattuh was caught attempting to smuggle 3,000 cell phones at the Allenby crossing on Tuesday. Fattuh, currently an advisor to
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, was on his way from Jordan to the PA.

The Office of coordinator of the government activities in the territories confiscated Fattuh's VIP pass claiming that he had abused his privilege by trying to sneak the phones in.

Fattuh said that this driver was responsible for the embarrassing incident.

On Tuesday, Fattuh arrived to the Allenby border terminal accompanied by his driver. He presented his VIP pass, however Tax Authority personnel decided to search the vehicle he was traveling in. They located 3,000 cellular phones, which were confiscated soon afterwards.

While YNET correctly shifts the blame away from the former PA Chairman to his driver, rightwingers will jump on the fact that the three thousand mobile phones were allegedly in the PA Chairman's car. We don't know for a fact that these phones were stolen. We don't know how these phones got in the car. For all we know, these phones were destined for Palestinian school children in Gaza so they could be in touch with their parents after murderous accidental IDF attacks on "terrorists".

There's no reason in the world that the former PA Chairman would try to illegally smuggle in mobile phones. It's beneath his stature, and as an elected leader, I doubt he would be involved in something like this.
Aren't Jews supposed to be "dan lekaf zechut?" -- and assume the best of people?
Very un-Jewish if you ask me. Get a life people, and practice the Torah the way God intended.

A Colonialist Occupier's Purim

Greetings Readers. You've seen me over at that right wing rag, Dovbear, so I decided to post here (since DovBear didn't grant me "guest posting" rights.

Around the time of Purim, one of my least favorite Jewish holidays, it has come to my attention of an IDF "question and answer" booklet of the laws pertaining to Purim within the scope of the IDF.

http://shiurim.btya.org/IDF_Shoot.pdf

Nothing could disgust me more.

What could be worse than the modern Israeli army adopting the role of the destroyer of the Palestinian Amalek, throwing missiles indiscriminately at innocent Arab kids playing soccer, and then gloating about it afterwards?

Sadly, I wasn't disappointed. The Purim booklet is so aptly named, "IDF_Shoot.pdf" -- when the IDF has the gall to name their booklet as "shoot", we all know exactly what they mean, who are they targeting, and what the reaction will be of your average Likudnik/Kachnik/Chardalnik will be when he hears that IDF tank shells landed on a Palestinian hospital in a refugee camp in Gaza. The words "ליהודים הייתה אורה ושמחה" will intermingle with more songs of revenge and glee as Palestinian children are shot at by IDF soldiers.

Not even needing to open the booklet, I can only assume it contains such wonderful questions
as:

How many Palestinian children do I need to kill to be "yotzeh" the mitzva of eradicating amalek?

Can I be yotzeh if the missile only accidentally hit the target (of the soccer field)?

If I play the megilla from the mosque loudspeaker in the village I'm doing milluim, will I still be yotzeh megilla reading?

Can I still be yotzeh the mitzva of getting drunk on Purim even if the wine isn't made from Palestinian baby blood?

A Sad Purim to us all,

Tyrone
